Principle of the assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with anti-human IgM. Samples are pipetted into the wells and any human IgM present is bound by the pre-coated anti-human IgM. After washing, EV71 antigen conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of human EV71 antibody (IgM) bound in the initial step.
